North Gallery
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center has remodeled a space
on the North side of the building to be a small gallery
for hosting primarily Permanent Collection Pieces. This
space was the original office to the Library Director,
before the Library was remodeled. The connection between
the Arts Center and Library was shut off due to a needed
Fire Wall between the 2 facilities. The 268 sq. ft. gallery
is fitted with carpeted walls (for nonobtrusive wall hanging),
gallery lighting, and natural lighting through the east-facing
windows.
For the opening of this new gallery, the Arts Center welcomed
a significant donation from the Lester & Virginia Clark
Estate of several bronze sculpture pieces; most of which
are featured in the North Gallery. This gallery could also
be used for small exhibits and/or collections in the future.
