Howdy from Breckenridge, Texas, home of the Buckaroos!
Since 1985, the BFAC has been a source of community pride for Breckenridge and the surrounding areas. The Center and the Breckenridge Library were built and given, as a gift, to the citizens of Breckenridge by the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Clark. The diverse workshops and exhibits appeal to a wide range of interests giving the artist in each of us a place to learn, create and grow.
We invite visitors to share in our pursuit of artistic advancement. Enjoy the facility and all it has to offer as we continue to inspire, educate and recognize the artists of today and tomorrow.
The BFAC's Main (2500 square feet) and East (1500 square feet) Galleries have revolving exhibits every six to 7 weeks with artwork that encompasses every medium from glass to oils, watercolors to bronzes and much more. We host an annual juried art show and competition that attracts artists from around the world. We invite you to come in and visit our permanent collections that include Texas Festival Gowns, the Katherine Leach doll collection with over 750 dolls and our sculpture gallery.
